Amphenol XGIGA's 1.25G SFP 10km Long Range (1.25GBASE-LR / 1000BASE-LX) Single-Mode Optical Transceiver Module with Integrated Duplex LC Connector (OEM P/N: XGSF-1312-10D) seamlessly integrates the transmit and receive paths of a single 1.25 Gbps rated data channel via a universal SFF-8472 MSA compliant SFP pluggable interface for compatibility with all Gigabit Ethernet rated SFP switch, server and NIC ports.

The integrated laser driver with limiting amplifier operates at a center wavelength of 1310 nm, transmitting data at up to 1250 Megabits-per-second (1000 Megabits-per-second for standard Gigabit Ethernet).  The single channel SFP interface transmits over single–mode (9/125) OS1 fiber optic cabling using the popular duplex LC connector style. 

On the receive side, the single 1G/1.25G data stream is recovered by a PIN photo-detector and trans-impedance amplifier, fully retimed with digital re-timer circuitry. This produces perfect "lossless" signal integrity on the receive-end, despite massive transmit travel distances of up to 10-kilometers (6.2 miles)!

These exceptional 1G/1.25G SFP-LR optical transceiver modules are precision-built in Amphenol's premiere optics lab in Taiwan and strenuously tested for long-term reliability and exceptional performance. Featuring a hot-pluggable electrical interface design, low power consumption (< 1.0 W) and a 2-wire serial interface.  Form factor, optical/electrical connection and digital diagnostic interface is fully-compliant to SFP MSA standards.
