The Amphenol Cables on Demand 26-AWG Flex-Sleeve SF-NJAAK60006-000.5M 400G QSFP112 DAC Cable is 100% identical to the Amphenol NJAAK6-0006 QSFP112 DAC Cable for usage with interconnecting (stacking) two or three desktop AI supercomputer systems via any of their native 400G QSFP112 (ConnectX-7) rated ports, in addition to GPU-based server stacking applications in next-generation AI and Enterprise Datacenter applications. QSFP112's "flat-top" connector backshell design is popular due to their compatibility with low-profile half-height Network Interface Card (NIC) designs used in PC's, servers and switches, such as the ConnectX-7, ConnectX-8 and Bluefield 3 DPU.
Note that a limitation to the PCIe Gen5 bus speed of the market's leading GPU-based desktop AI supercomputer only permits 400G-rated QSFP112 stacking cables to run at half-speed (200G). This is because the units use ConnectX-7 certified QSFP NIC ports, which always require 400G QSFP112 rated cables, regardless of whether the desktop platform can actually utilize the full 400G I/O bandwidth. This is why slower 200G-rated QSFP56 DAC Cables will NOT work reliably as a substitute -- they're detected as non-ConnectX-7 compliant cables by the unit's firmware.

Our unique flexible 26 AWG Flex-Sleeve design forgoes the typical route of molding all 8 wire pairs into a single molded PVC cable jacket. Instead, four thinner molded 2-pair wire cables, the same as those used in SFP DAC Cables, are encased in a nylon braided cable sleeve, offering superior bend characteristics in tight server rack installations. Each 0.5m (1.6-ft) length QSFP112 Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Cable goes through a rigorous assembly and test procedure aimed at eliminating unnecessary signal loss. Our cables are fully compliant to the QSFP112 MSA for guaranteed compatibility with all QSFP112 ports and reverse compatibility with QSFP+ / QSFP28 / QSFP56 ports.
