This evolution is made possible first by doubling the data lanes from 4-lanes to 8-lanes, then doubling throughput once again by upgrading from NRZ QSFP-DD 56G (Non-Return-to-Zero PAM2) modulation to advanced QSFP-DD 112G PAM4 modulation.
