Amphenol 2m (6.6 ft) 50G/56G SFP56 Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Cables provide affordable 50-Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in a low-profile package. Each SFP56 cable utilizes an upgraded 20-position “board-as-connector” design with zinc die-cast backshells for superior EMI performance and minimal insertion loss. Our 2m SFP56 cables are assembled with industry-leading 30-AWG twinaxial SKEWCLEAR® 2-pair wire; optimized for bandwidth-intense applications such as 50Gb Ethernet, Fibre Channel, InfiniBand, and SONET. Our cables are designed to the open-source SFF-8402 MSA standard in order to guarantee compatibility with the vast majority of SFP56 equipment on the market also based on that standard. Identical to OEM Amphenol High-Speed I/O (HSIO) cable assembly of comparable specifications (length/AWG). Our SFP56 DAC Cables utilize 50G PAM4 modulation to achieve 56.0-Gigabits-per-second maximum data-rates, but are reverse compatible with NRZ modulation, thus ensuring full backwards compatibility with both 25G SFP28 and 10G SFP+ capable hardware.
