As a passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Cable, Amphenol 100G DSFP to QSFP28 Cables feature a near-zero operating TDP (Thermal Design Power) budget compared to active copper or active optical cable (AOC) solutions, for the most environmentally conscious installation profile.

All Amphenol DSFP to QSFP Adapter/Converter Cables feature full multi-modal backwards compatibility as well as full Multiplexing/De-multiplexing capabilities. This enables the DSFP side of the cable to connect with legacy 10G SFP+ and 25G SFP28 ports in NRZ mode, it can connect to DSFP ports and run at 50G aka DSFP56 (2x25G NRZ or 1x50G PAM4) and 100G aka DSFP112 (1x100G or 2x50G PAM4). Likewise, the QSFP side can run at 40G (4x10G NRZ QSFP+) or 100G (4x25G NRZ QSFP28).
