SMA to SMA Cables (Coaxial Cable with SMA Connectors)
Shop SMA to SMA Cables (Coaxial Cable with SMA Connectors) at Amphenol Cables on Demand. The renowned SMA RF Connector platform is one of the most popular connector types used on any number of RF electronics devices where a smaller connector profile is required due to space constrictions, whereby a bulkier BNC or TNC Connector may not fit. It is also popular in high-vibration environments, i.e. defense, aerospace and automotive applications, since its long threaded coupling has a lower risk of vibrating loose compared to the ¼-turn bayonet-locking BNC.
SMA Connectors are often used interchangeably application-wise with BNC Connectors and are similarly found on radio receivers, transmitters, amplifiers, antennas, RF test and instrumentation, GPS navigation, avionics, spectrum analyzers and signal generators. One advantage the SMA has over the BNC is its rated bandwidth capacity, typically doubling the BNC pass-band of 4-GHz all the way up to 8-GHz or more.
Amphenol’s line-up of SMA to SMA Coaxial Cable Assemblies match up various styles of 50-Ohm Coaxial Cabling (RG-58/RG-174/RG188/RG316) with impedance-matched 50-Ohm SMA male plug and/or female receptacle connectors. Impedance-matching minimizes adverse VSWR-induced signal reflection and loss. Browse our SMA to SMA Cable selection below – offered in numerous cable lengths, cable temperature ratings (including high-temp Teflon), as well as connector orientations (i.e. right angle SMA), to meet your specific application requirements.
