D-Subminiature (D-Sub) Cables |
D-Sub Cable Types:
Standard Density D-Sub Cables: Our Standard Density line-up of d-sub cable assemblies are available in a male-to-male (pin-to-pin) and male-to-female (pin-to-socket) configurations from 9-positions (DB9) up to 50-positions (DB50). Due to their wide application range and popularity, we offer Standard Density D-Sub cable assemblies in Standard (Single-Layer Aluminum Foil Shielding), Deluxe (Enhanced Single-Layer Copper-Tape Shielding) and Premium (Double-Shielded with Aluminum Foil + Braid); supporting installations in even the most rugged of environments.
High-Density (HD) D-Sub Cables: Our High-Density line-up of d-sub cable assemblies are available in male-to-male (pin-to-pin) and male-to-female (pin-to-socket) configurations from 15-positions (HD15 aka DB15HD) to 78-positions (HD78 aka DB78HD). The HD design tends to be utilized for specialized applications that require a mix of serial data I/O, power distribution, digital telemetry or clock data I/O as well as analog/digital audio transfer. Our Deluxe Series HD D-Sub line-up utilizes a slightly thinner 28-AWG wire to support the higher wire count.
